VLADIMIR SHISH (French horn) is the professor of the Brass Department of P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory.
He studied at V. Kosenko Zhytomyr Music College and at the Rostov State Musical and Pedagogical Institute in the class of Professor I. Artemyev.
V. Shish has worked as a soloist and concertmaster with numerous Russian orchestras such as the Orchestra of Rostov State Musical Theatre, the Symphony orchestra of the Rostov Regional Philharmonic Society, the Symphony Orchestra of Russia under the guidance of V. Dudarova, the symphony orchestra «Russian Philharmonic» under the baton of A.Vedernikov, the symphony orchestra of Kislovodsk State Philharmonic and others.
He regularly performs with solo compositions for French horn and piano in such concert halls as the Central House of Artists, State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, Shuvalova Music Hall, Great Hall of the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music. He is the constant member of the Russian Brass-quintet GABT under the guidance of V. Prokopov during their tours to Poland, Spain, Japan and other countries of the world.
Vladimir has given master classes in Georgia, South Korea, China, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia.
He is awarded with honorary certificates of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Committee for Culture of Moscow, Diploma of the Association «Classic Heritage»; he is also a member of the Moscow Musical Society.
