Teterina Nadezhda

Nadezhda Teterina is a senior research associate of the Russian State Institute of Art Studies, Candidate of Art Studies.

She studied at the History and Theory Faculty of the Nizhny Novgorod Conservatory. Nadezhda Teterina worked at the Manuscript Department at the M.I. Glinka Central State Museum of Music Culture. She is a musical editor of the choral works created by Russian composers of the 18th-19th centuries: S.A. Degtyaryov, A.N. Verstovsky, A.A. Alyabyev. She was a scientific secretary of the volumes 10Б and 10В of «The History of Russian Music in Ten Volumes», participated in the production of the operas «Boris Godunov» by M. Mussorgsky and “Ruslan and Lyudmila” by M. Glinka on the stage of Bolshoi Theatre of Russia.

Nadezhda Teterina is the laureate of the Principal Archive Governance Prize in Russia for the development of the topic «Computer data bases and their possibilities for systematization and processing of the musicians’ archives», the laureate of the prize granted by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation (as a part of a creative team) for preparation of archival materials and writing of scientific articles on history and musical textual criticism in the volumes 1-2 of «The Complete Academic Set of Works of M.P. Mussorgsky».

Nadezhda Teterina is the author of about 30 scientific works, among them is a monograph «Historicism of Creative Thinking of M.P. Mussorgsky» (in co-authorship with E.M. Levashev) etc.
